The blade is forged from high-carbon stainless steel, heat treated and ice hardened to 61 Rockwell hardness to guard against chipping, cracking, or breaking. The edge is ground to a 12.5-degree cutting angle using advanced laser technology, and the spine and bolster are rounded for comfort. The ebony PakkaWood handle is secured with rivets, and full tang construction provides balance and strength while cutting.
