    Stock pot review

Nice pot. I’m not sure if anything All-Clad makes is worth the high price, but maybe. My reservation is more with the company than this pot. The lid fits on this pot, which is more than I can say for 2 other All-Clad cookware pieces I have. Beware of All-Clad lids. They may not fit what you think they will fit. I got 2 replacement lids and neither one fits right. All-Clad made the cookware and they made the lids. Multiple All-Clad authorized dealer web sites said the lids would fit right, but they do not. Following All-Clad instructions I sent the misfitting cookware and lid pieces back to them. They said there were no manufacturing defects. They didn’t claim the lids fit, but just that they had no defects. Since there are no defects there is no warranty coverage. All-Clad claims to make high quality products, but when it comes to their lids and cookware, they may not correctly fit together at all. There was a time when U.S. companies made quality products at a fair price. Now it seems like low quality at a high price, while claiming a great warranty that does not mean squat. Buyer beware.

Description

All-Clad D3 Stainless Steel Stock Pots are a staple in any kitchen. The high straight sides help retain moisture and limit evaporation. The wide base is ideal for sautéing ingredients before adding them to soups and stews. Helper handles on both sides of the rim give added stability. The 6-quart, 8-quart, and 12-quart stock pots are all compatible with the All-Clad 10.5-inch lid.

The All-Clad D3 Stainless Collection is All-Clad's most popular line of cookware. This line features tri-ply construction, with an aluminum core between layers of stainless steel. Aluminum heats up quickly, and stainless steel ensures even heat distribution.

The 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface is non-reactive, and the starburst finish offers natural stick resistance. Stainless steel handles are secured with stainless steel rivets.

All-Clad D3 Stainless cookware is warp-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and induction compatible. Made in the USA.
