Whether you're gearing up for a long road trip, planning lazy afternoons by the pool, or enjoying a leisurely beach vacation, we have the perfect listening companion. We’re sharing some of our favorite food podcasts to enjoy during your downtime -- and they’re just as entertaining if you're tuning in from the office!

Home Cooking

Hosted by Samin Nosrat and Hrishkesh Hirway, Home Cooking originally started as a 4-part series for quarantine cooking. It became a cozy source of weekly support for 2020 home cooks, and now it's back!

Home Cooking blends culinary advice, listener questions, humor and story-telling. Samin does more of what she did best in her cookbook, Salt Fat Acid Heat, and Netflix series of the same name -- using her infectious enthusiasm and profound knowledge of all things food to help listeners become better cooks. Hrishi's terrible puns and thoughtful curiosity create a welcoming vibe that resonates with cooks of all levels.

Tinfoil Swans

Hosted by Food & Wine’s Executive Features Editor, Kat Kinsman, Tinfoil Swans features interviews with some of the biggest names in the culinary industry. Exploring how these "successful and creative people became themselves," Kat uses her warm and curious approach to learn more about our favorite chefs, writers, and culinary enthusiasts to connect through food and life's journeys.

The Sporkful

Hosted by Dan Pashman, The Sporkful launched in 2010. Since then, this podcast has won two James Beard Awards and two Webby Awards for Best Food Podcast. Each week, Dan uses humor and humanity to approach food from many angles, including identity, culture, science, history, economics, and lengthy debates on the best way to layer a PB&J. Their tagline is, "The Sporkful is not for foodies, it's for eaters."

Cherry Bombe

Hosted by Kerry Diamond, Radio Cherry Bombe is just one part of this media company whose mission is to celebrate women and creatives in the world of food. Each episode features a guest, from up-and-coming entrepreneurs to industry icons and personalities such as Alice Waters, Madhur Jaffrey, Ina Garten, and Stanley Tucci. Kerry and her guests discuss their backgrounds, their inspirations, and the lessons they've learned along the way.

Things Bakers Know

Hosted by Jessican Battilana and David Tamarkin, Things Bakers Know is the long-awaited podcast from King Arthur Baking! Each episode will focus on a different baked good, including tips and tricks to make them in your own kitchen. Along the way, they'll answer baking questions from listeners and chat with the best bakers in America to get their expert advice. Their first episode is all about pizza. You'll definitely want a slice after listening.
