Shipping Information

We offer free shipping on orders over $49. Some oversized items may incur additional fees, which will be noted on the product page. We ship Monday through Friday. Orders received by 2:00 pm MT generally ship the same day. Orders received after 2:00 pm MT will ship the next business day. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will ship the next business day.

We send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once the carrier has your package. We ship most orders via FedEx Ground Delivery or USPS. Most orders are delivered within four business days. We ship to the contiguous 48 states. Unfortunately, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. We also do not ship to APO/FPO boxes.

Return Policy

Requesting a return is easy. Simply request a return authorization number using one of the following methods:

  • Log in to your account on our site, locate your order, and request a return.
  • Email us via our Contact Us page.
  • Call us at (877) 407-4466.

We will provide a return authorization number. Items returned without a return authorization number will not be accepted. For discretionary returns, you will be responsible for shipping costs. You can contact us for a reduced rate prepaid return shipping label. When returning damaged or defective items, we will provide a prepaid shipping label along with the return authorization number.

Returned items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging with all parts and documentation in order to receive a full refund. Items that do not meet these requirements will incur restocking fees. We process refunds within five business days of receipt of returned items. Accepted items that are returned within 90 days of delivery will receive a refund via the original payment method. Accepted items that are returned after 90 days will receive store credit. No items will be accepted over 365 days after the delivery date.

This meat cleaver from the Global Classic collection can chop meat for stew or bones for stock. Use the back of the cleaver to tenderize cuts or the flat of the cleaver to smash garlic cloves.

The blade is made from CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, ice tempered and hardened for superior edge retention, with a convex edge that stays sharper longer. CROMOVA 18 stainless steel is proprietary to Global. It includes a higher percentage of carbon than Western knives for greater strength and durability. It also includes a higher percentage of chromium than Western knives for greater stain resistance. Vanadium offers durability and wear resistance, and molybdenum offers hardness and corrosion resistance. The ergonomic, stainless steel knife handle is filled with sand to ensure it is perfectly weighted and balanced. The signature dimple pattern offers a comfortable, slip-resistant grip.

The Global Classic collection has been manufactured in Japan since 1985. The original design from Komin Yamada has remained the same, thanks to its durability, quality, and unique construction.
