The Microplane Home Series Ribbon Grater uses a back and forth grating motion to create ribbon-like shreds. It works well with fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, zucchini, and cabbage, as well as other foods such as butter, chocolate, coconut, and both hard and soft cheese. This grater has a molded plastic frame and handle with ribbing for a secure grip. The blade is made from surgical-grade stainless steel, and the grater features a non-skid base for added stability while grating. Use the included protective cover for safe storage of your grater.
