So we ignored the instructions to not put the carafe in the dishwasher, and had to purchase this lovely thing. Looks exactly the same as the old one, except this time they have a painted symbol on the bottom which appears to be "No Dishwasher" shoulda read the manual.
I wanted to make sure I leave a review because I wasn't familiar with this company but decided to take a chance on ordering this carafe and hope for the best. My first order was delivered to a wrong address due to FedEx making a mistake but customer service did an excellent job at helping me out. It's an actual person who picked up the phone and I didn't have to waste any time dealing with a computer asking annoying questions, putting me on hold, etc. The lady on the phone was pleasant and helpful and resolved my issue in one day. Awesome! They sent me a replacement carafe and it was delivered in a few days. It works perfectly and was way cheaper than ordering it from SMEG! Thank you again for providing wonderful service!
