    Replaced old, love the new

    Sadly, my old Ankarsrum blender started to leak. Unfortunately it was beyond the warranty period so I needed to get a new one. Word to the wise - do not continue to use your blender if it starts leaking from the bottom - you can burn out your motor. I did not burn out my motor because I stopped using it when I saw the leak. I still use this blender every day, and love it. All the points from my original review still apply. Luuuv it! Especially how easy it is to clean. Hoping this one lasts longer, but with the heavy use it gets, I still feel like it is a good cost per use.

    I use it every day - LOVE IT!

    I love my Ankarsrum mixer, and I have used it every day for two years with the blender attachment for delightfully smooth protein veggie smoothies. I already had a good blender, but wanted fewer small appliances taking up counter and storage space. I was concerned that this would not have the power to make my veggie smoothies smooth, my butter chicken velvety or my creamy carrot soup lump free. It does all of that (and more) with ease. It's so simple to turn the mixer on its side, attach the blender and BOOM. Done. It is super easy to clean - add some hot water and a bit of soap, spin it, rinse and done. The fact that the blade assembly is permanently attached is nice. Less things to leak! This attachment is trouble-free. I love that I can store it in the mixer bowl. If you ever use a blender and have an "Ank," get this attachment. You will not regret it.

    Blender Attachment

    This blender attachment is simple to use and extremely efficient! It makes crushing frozen fruit in to smoothies in less than one minute with ease! I look forward to making creamed soups and sauces in the future. I like the top with an easy to remove plug to add additional ingredients such as protein powder! It’s very easy to clean too!

Description

The Ankarsrum Blender Attachment is compatible with the Ankarsrum Original Mixer. Use this attachment for milkshakes, smoothies, and coarsely grinding grains like oats. Made from durable, BPA-free Tritan plastic.

Turn the mixer on its side. Remove the cap from the blender port on the side of the base and replace it over the drive socket for safekeeping. Fasten the blender in place onto the blender port on the side of the base. Run the mixer on high speed for best blending results.

  • 1.3-liter maximum capacity blender
  • BPA-free Tritan plastic
  • Hand wash blender container and lid
  • Wipe clean mixer base and exterior
